Academic Tutoring Centers offers a wide variety of tutoring for students between 7 - 12 grades.  Because no two students are alike, we cannot possibly tell a parent exactly how we can help until we learn more about your child.  Most parents and students request help in the following areas:

Our staff tailors each student's tutoring to his or her individual needs, rather than funneling students through a routine, ready-made set of exercises. This enables Academic Tutoring to provide the most effective academic preparation for each student, no matter the learning style.

As part of Academic Tutoring's personalized approach, we oversee each student-tutor relationship from inception through conclusion by selecting the most appropriate tutor and tracking each student's progress.

George Abariotis
Student of ATC from 8-05 to present

George was a transfer student from Greece entering high school as a junior at St Ignatius College
Prep. The transition was difficult and we sought help. Academic Tutoring Center has assisted in George's transition from one learning culture to another.  This Center and the tutoring received helped him achieve academic success and more importantly encouraged him to strive for his potential. The approach was right on the money, providing a structured learning environment using a personal approach.  George felt at ease and receptive to the suggestions, ending his junior year with a GPA of 3.92. This year George has gone only a few times but has continued to use the skills he learned and continues to do well at school. We certainly feel lucky to have been able to make the connection between George and Academic Tutoring.
